Family-Owned Australian Commercial Flooring Specialists
GEO Flooring is a family-owned Australian company specialising in premium commercial flooring systems for architects, interior designers, specifiers and commercial project teams across Australia and New Zealand.
Since 2003, we have focused on sourcing technically advanced flooring products from leading international manufacturers, particularly where standard local flooring options cannot provide the same level of performance, design flexibility, environmental documentation or long-term project suitability.
Our role extends beyond product supply. We help project teams compare flooring options, review samples against design intent, access technical documentation and make specification decisions with greater confidence from early concept through to construction and long-term performance.
Why GEO Flooring
The name GEO is derived from the Greek word ge, meaning earth, ground or land. It reflects the foundation of our business: sourcing and distributing commercial flooring with a commitment to environmental responsibility, material transparency and whole-of-life performance.
That principle has guided our product partnerships since the company commenced operations in 2003. We select flooring manufacturers whose products offer genuine engineering depth, documented performance, design quality and environmental credibility.
Specialist Flooring with Global Partners
GEO Flooring is the exclusive Australian distributor for two specialist commercial flooring manufacturers: American Biltrite and Vertisol.
American Biltrite produces commercial rubber flooring for demanding interiors where durability, underfoot comfort, rolling-load performance, low-maintenance operation, PVC-free material composition and environmental credentials are important specification considerations. The portfolio includes ABPURE, featuring Nfuse Technology, along with ABMarathon and ABMarathon stair systems for heavy-use commercial applications.
Vertisol manufactures architectural woven vinyl flooring in Spain, combining the visual warmth and texture of a woven textile with the durability, cleanability and dimensional stability required for commercial environments. Vertisol flooring supports projects where contemporary surface design, acoustic comfort, indoor air quality documentation and practical maintenance outcomes are important.
How we support specification
Commercial flooring selection is no longer based on colour and pattern alone. Project teams now require evidence-based product support covering durability, fire and slip performance, VOC emissions, indoor air quality, environmental documentation, installation, maintenance and long-term suitability.
GEO Flooring supports this process with product knowledge, curated sample kits, technical documentation, installation and maintenance guidance, environmental documents and practical project support. We work with architects, designers, builders, contractors and facility teams to help match the correct flooring system to the intended application.
Leadership and Experience
GEO Flooring is led by Andrew Arnott, Managing Director and founder. Andrew has worked across the commercial flooring industry for more than four decades, including flooring subcontracting, senior executive experience in marketing and sales, international flooring industry experience in the United Kingdom, and long-term commercial specification support across Australia and New Zealand.
As an independent family-owned business, GEO Flooring has the flexibility to focus on products that meet genuine performance and environmental criteria, while providing practical, hands-on specification support that is grounded in real project experience.
Commercial Sectors We Support
GEO Flooring supports commercial flooring specifications across workplace, education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, public and civic spaces, transport-adjacent environments, multi-residential projects, student accommodation and build-to-rent developments.
Product Support and Technical Resources
For each product range, GEO Flooring can assist with sample requests, product suitability guidance, maintenance information, environmental documentation and technical resources. This helps architects, designers and project teams select flooring that aligns with design intent, compliance requirements and long-term commercial performance.
