GEO Flooring introduces: The Wax Resist Collection

Drawing inspiration from the traditional wax resist dye techniques that have been used for centuries around the world, The Wax Resist Collection is imbued with a more traditional handmade style. Soft in its appearance of organic patterns, the wax resist collection is suited to many spaces, and particularly suitable for Healthcare and Aged care environments.

The term “resist dying” refers to the various traditional dyeing methods for textiles with patterns. These include: tying, stitching, or waxing in order to produce a pattern by way of creating a barrier that will resist the die on parts of the fabric whereby a pattern is produced. Tandus’ Wax Resist Collection is produced using space dyed yarns, which mimic the resist thread, which is then stitched throughout a solution dyed cloth. The finished result ‘imparts the harmony and grace of the traditional artisans’.Available in both modular and moisture barrier powerbond®, The Wax resist Collection offers:

100% closed loop recycling Is constructed using invista Antron® and LumenaStain Resistance Extremely low VOCs
Sustainable methods of installation using a pre-applied backing system, illuminating the use of adhesive drums, which often end up in landfill.
Suitable for a range of applications, The Wax Resist collection is available in 19 earth-based shades which are ideal for healing environments.
